IMMERSION Nights are here for anyone who wants to explore the experimental and deeper side of dance music. As regular bass-driven nights are limited in Copenhagen, we invite everyone curious and ready for broken-beat, left-field techno, dub-inspired, and sub-bass selections to join us on 20 October.

Launching the night we present one of the UK’s leading underground DJs in bass music, Madam X headling the Black Box alongside Keeptress and DJ JM.

With the soundsystem pressure of dubstep, the propulsion of techno, and a fearless attitude to multi-genre mixing, there aren’t many DJs like Madam X who can carve out whole new sounds in their music and how they play it. A signature in the label she heads, Kaizen LTD. With support from Academeia Nights’ Keeptress and experimental producer DJ JM immerse yourself in styles from dubstep, electro to trance.

In the basement, Red Box offers experimental breaks and darker techno selection courtesy of Sweeties’ Denna, Ash Skead and N.E.GIRL!

ATTITUDE CODE
When you’re at an IMMERSION night you should arrive with the intention to acknowledge how you party!

Our nights should let you express yourself and explore different genres while considering those around you. Respectful and consensual behavior are the minimum! Get into the immersion nights and respect our values:

• We care how our actions impact others.
• We show enjoyment of the music, while being mindful of our surroundings.
• We always check for consent and respect each other’s boundaries (no unwanted attention, no staring, no touching).

Our Awareness and security team are trained to monitor for behaviour that could make others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, and have been instructed to stop this kind of behaviour. With support from Good Night Out Campaign, Culture Box will enforce a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination, harassment, racism, transphobia, homophobia, fat-phobia, sexism, ageism, ableism, and bigoted ego-driven behaviour.
As always, If you are made to feel uncomfortable please notify our Awareness Crew or any other member of staff, we are all trained to help you.
