Culture Box is the most prominent venue for electronic music in Denmark. Ever since the club opened in 2005, Culture Box has delivered lineups of the best international and local artists of the underground music scene on a weekly basis.

The age limit is 18 years. There is no dress code at Culture Box.

First drink/beer free the first open hour. Included in the entrance fee.

Culture Box operate an attitude code for a safer space. We kindly ask you to respect your fellow clubbers and our staff to create the best atmosphere possible. We have a zero tolerance policy to any form of harassment. That includes leering, rude comments, touching and any unwanted attention and behaviour that makes anyone feel uncomfortable. No homophobia, transphobia, sexism or racism accepted. If someone is making you feel uncomfortable then please notify a member of our staff or the security, they are all trained to help you. Take care of yourself and each other. Without respect, love is lost.


All jackets, coats and bags, with the exception of small hand bags, must be handed in at the cloakroom. The fee is DKK 25,- per item. Guests are solely responsible for keeping track of their cloakroom ticket. If you lose your cloakroom ticket, you must pay a fee of DKK 50,-. Due to fire safety codes any clothing left unattended will be collected by our staff and can be retrieved in the wardrobe for a fee. We are not responsible in any way for collected items.


You are allowed to take photos and videos of the artists and silhouetted crowd with a regular pocket camera or mobile phone, providing you respect the people around you. No use of flash or fixed light. Professional or semiprofessional cameras are only allowed by the authorised photographers and videographers we employ. Failure to comply to the rules can result in ejection from the venue.


Culture Box operate a zero tolerance policy to drugs. Anyone found with illegal drugs will be banned from the venue and reported to the police.


All prices at Culture Box are in Danish Kroner (DKK). All bars, entrance and cloakroom accept Danish Kroner plus Euro, US Dollars, Sterling, Swedish and Norwegian Kroner (notes only).

Culture Box also accept the most common credit cards, including Dankort, Visa-electron, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express etc.


In 2015 Culture Box won “Best Danish Club” at DDJA, for the sixth time.

Sven Väth, DJ Koze, Richie Hawtin, and Laurent Garnier have all been awarded “Best International DJ” for sets played at Culture Box in 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2014 respectively.

In 2016 inthemix ranked Culture Box as #13 of the world’s best small clubs. The readers of Electronic Beats placed Culture Box in the Top 5 of the very best venues in 2013.
