Steve Lawler returns to Culture Box for the first time since 2014!
Steve Lawler has been busy with the beats for well over three decades. His releases are signed by some of the world’s most established recording labels and have also seen daylight on his own recording label VIVa MUSiC. His label works as a culmination of everything thatʼs gone before; from putting on illegal acid house raves, to his residency at super club Cream and the triumphant residency at Space in Ibiza, where he earned himself the nickname ‘The King of the Space’. The UK legend is supported by VIVa Warriors residents Denise and Karina known as Anek. Famous for releases on Moon Harbour and for rocking crowds everywhere from Ants in Ibiza to Studio 338 and Ministry of Sound in London, the duo remains on form. The closing set into Saturday morning is played by Henri Matisse who released on Terminal M and Carl Cox’s Intec.
Red Box is home to some talented up and coming spinners of Copenhagen’s underground scene. Mira Campau, Aleks BLC and Robin Flux will guide us through the night from 10pm till late.
