One of dance music’s most unique and standout artists, Kate Simko shines through with her modern Chicago-influenced sound. Kate was welcomed into the dance music scene via the iconic Spectral Sound label. Since then her catalogue has grown to include releases on Get Physical, Hello?Repeat, The Vinyl Factory, Leftroom, No.19, Sasha’s Last Night On Earth imprint, and Jamie Jones’ Emerald City. In 2014 Kate completed a masters in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music and launched her genre-bending project London Electronic Orchestra. She has performed at some of the world’s leading locations such as Berghain, Panorama Bar, Warung and fabric. Her main influences as a DJ are Chicago and Detroit heritage, mixed with other raw, jackin’ and cutting tracks from across the globe.

What Happens main man Tim Andresen and True Rotary Recordings’ Ena Cosovic play the opening and closing set in Black Box. Swedish/French DJ and producer Sparkly Pony is the organizer of Sweat, a queer rave in Malmö/Copenhagen. He gets his Culture Box debut mixing dark, melancholic techno with groovy, stomping house tunes in Red Box. Folkets Haus’ ANNÆLIX rounds off the uber hot lineup fresh from the release of her Superspelt EP on Regn Records.
