For the past fifteen years Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based producer Pfirter has been pushing a sound by turns steely, dark and uplifting, true to the founding principles of the techno’s tetramorp but eager to throw his own vanguard, personal touch into the mix. After releasing over fifty club-formatted records, he now finally releases his eagerly awaited debut album “The Empty Space” on his own MindTrip label (whose name says it all).
From the early days onward, Pfirter has kept working his magic with focus and style whilst headlining some of the most infamous electronic music bastions and events including Berghain, Tresor, Concrete, Awakenings and Time Warp. We’re excited to see him play at Culture Box.
One of Culture Box’ sons, Ricq from the infamous KUNE events will play the opener while Malmö’s Don Woezik gets his Culture Box debut with the closing set in Black Box following some years of truly great releases on Street Life Rhythm, Trau-ma, 7Teen Records and more.
Born and bred in Romania but now resident in Copenhagen, Tight Cherry brings her Club Context to Red Box. She’s is a passionate vinyl lover, radio host and presenter at MmhRadio. Talking of MmhRadio, she invited one of her recent guest DJs Thomas Lynge, one half of the legendary Tournesol duo with releases on R&S and sub-label Apollo that stretch all the way back to the nineties.
