An artist we’ve been eager to bring to Culture Box for a while, Mall Grab is breaking all kinds of moulds on his rapid rise to recognition on the world stage. Previously working from the confines of his studio in his decidedly un-electronic hometown of Newcastle, Australia – now based in London – he is a clear example of the connective power of the Internet; proof that the web does have the ability get real talent noticed. His music has been described as “mildly celestial ‘hella stoned’ introspections that pay homage to old Three 6 Mafia mixtapes as much as more recent astral experiences in house and techno.” and “a surefire purveyor of leg-stretching, dusty house material,”. Stripped back yet emotional, his love for music and fun is obvious – whether it’s in his own productions or his energy-filled DJ sets.

Carlo & Selma play the opening set in Black Box. North meets south, Norway meets Italy, reindeers meet pizza, you get the idea. Anything can happen with these two on stage. Asfalt from Club T-Rex gets his Black Box debut with the closing set Sunday morning.

One of the freshest new party crews of Denmark, the BGM8S Collective (pronounced Boogie Mates) will enter our Red Box for their first party at Culture Box. Lead by Dan Sabel and Divad and more, they spin an eclectic selection of tunes including house, disco and techno and bring good vibes to the cozy surroundings on the lower floor.

We saved the best for last. Unlimited free Tuborg Gold are waiting to be served by all our bartenders between 11pm and midnight so get in early.
