We are sorry to inform you that due to a cancelled flight from Amsterdam and no other travel options later, Bambounou can’t make it to Copenhagen tonight. He really looked forward to this show and we’re already in touch with his booking agency Octopus Agents to re-schedule and find a new date for him. Eliott Litrowski and Ena Cosovic will both play extended sets in the main room tonight.

Spending the past few years honing his sound and technique, Bambounou, a key figure in the Parisian scene, has gained his position from his genre bending and jubilant electronic music productions and laying down solid DJ sets around the globe of futuristic interpretations UK techno, IDM and tribal sources at places like Berghain/Panorama Bar, Concrete and De School. His effortless straddling of experimental eclecticism and 4×4 beat mastery helped Bambounou to early on catch the eye of Modeselektor, whose 50Weapons released two albums and five EPs of his axiom breaking dance incantations. His ever evolving and forward thinking productions have more recently seen a release on the revered WHITIES imprint.

Fellow Frenchman Eliott Litrowski, the co-founder of Fuego International who is now based in Denmark, plays the opening set in Black Box. True Rotary Recordings’ Ena Cosovic spins the vinyl closing set.

Red Box is the playground of Romanian KUNE founder Alin and Sweden’s Edvin Wikner from Maraton and Under Bron.

Ice cold Tuborg Gold will be handed out from the bars before midnight so join the crowd early.
