CULTURE BOX PODCAST 122 – ALEKSANDER LOPEZ
“I’ve crafted this mix to keep the energy high from start to finish, packed with tracks with psy basslines, drops, and leads that speak to my own passion for raw sound and high energy. I’m excited to include my own track, Popping Pills”, out on the Basseht label, which captures the vibe that defines my sound.” – Aleksander Lopez
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 121 – SLUMJUICE
“This mix contains deep, atmospheric tracks ranging from groovy, hypnotic to intriguing, tribal techno. As always, we focused on creating a cohesive sound experience from start to finish, with an energetic build throughout our set. In our never-ending pursuit to find new grooves between two tracks, we try to make every track blend as if they were made for each other. This mix reflects a deep search through our library, with carefully selected tracks and a clear vision to bring you techno with top-level soundscaping as part of the production.” – Slumjuice
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 120 – MARY HARP
“This mix takes you through a blend of jungle building up to drum and bass at the end. I start at 145 BPM and gradually build up to 175 BPM because I love blending different styles and creating a journey through the music. Lately, I’ve been really inspired by the roots of jungle, especially the hardcore jungle sound from the early ’90s. That’s the vibe I’ve gone for here—raw, energetic, with breaks, 4×4 kicks, high-pitched vocals, and heavy bass lines that just hit. Towards the end, I also bring in some soulful drum and bass, including my own track, “Something About You,” to wrap it all up. Hope you will enjoy the mix!” – Mary Harp
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 119 – ENTERTHEVOIGT
“It’s such a pleasure to create a mix for Culture Box, one of the clubs where I started to fall in love with house and techno! I remember going to see the founding fathers and mothers of the scene in Black Box, and I will be forever grateful. I appreciate all walks of house music. When I play a room I love to journey all the way from “The Loft” to “future raves”. My mix is inspired by the sassy, fast paced and hedonistic summer in Copenhagen. Fun first of all but groovy thru and thru. Pianos, horns and happiness!” – Enterthevoigt
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 118 – AELVA K
“This melodic techno mix seamlessly brings together some of my favorite tracks at the moment, creating an irresistible blend of sounds and atmospheres. It’s packed with groovy melodies and enchanting vocals that I love, and it will sweep you away on a captivating musical journey from start to finish. Whether you want to lose yourself in the music by dancing or simply relax and listen, this mix sets the perfect mood for any time or energy level. Get ready to be transported to other dimensions by the hypnotic and magical sound of this mix”. – AELVA K
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 117 – ELLIOTT TAGUCHI
“What I’ve tried to showcase with this mix, are the different sides of club-oriented techno that I currently enjoy listening to and playing. While the mix is above 140 bpm, it contains everything from hypnotic elements, driving floor smashers, cheeky vocals, and intense percussions. Taking all this and making it into one cohesive listening experience also showcases what to expect from me when I’m out playing at parties – that was my vision with the mix. This is also the first time I’ve recorded myself using three decks instead of two, which has added a whole new level to the layering and progression I’m able to create when mixing.” – Elliott Taguchi
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 116 – WILLE
“Tried not to overthink this one, just music I’m feeling atm, uptempo, ravey, lots of proggy 90s vibes, breaks and an abundance of piano anthems. Really like how it turned out! Mix start outs with a track from the late great greek synth god Lasos, going into my new track “Bilancia Nero”, from my upcoming album out later this year, and comes back full circle with my remaster of the psych-disco belter “Hills Of Katmandu”. Thanks for having me!” – Wille
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 115 – ANDERS PONSAING
“Step into the sonic journey of my latest mix tape, a seamless fusion of Balearic vibes that transports you across sun-soaked landscapes and euphoric horizons. The mix embarks from sunset and takes you into the dark orange and purple skies with a BPM ranging from the laid-back groove of 90 to the pulsating energy of 117, each transition is a passage through time and space. Featuring a blend of captivating remixes and soul-stirring originals crafted by yours truly.” – Anders Ponsaing
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 114 – ALEKS BLC
“This mix is a 130BMP ride resembling a 90s rave house sound, filled with sampled vocals, cheeky hi-hats, driving basslines, and acid textures. Uplifting, sassy, and a tad bit melancholic.” – Aleks BLC
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 113 – TADOH
“Here it is. A down and midtempo journey as dark as this January that is soon behind us. It begins on the very slow and soft end with a track I love and travels across a few bpms, keeping the same dark vibe. It’s some of the groovy and bouncy stuff that I love to play with, ready for you to bubble away during activities such as riding a bike, putting nail polish on, chopping onions or cuddling. I hope you’ll find the proper use for it, and see you soon on a dancefloor near you.” – tadoh

Here you will find new music from artists like Nick Muir, Antrim, Juan Ibañez, Scippo, Ignacio Berardi, among others. I hope you will enjoy it!” – Albano
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 106 – IKIGAI

Closing Black Box is always a pleasure and this time was no exception” – Ikigai
CULTURE BOX PODCAST 105 – STEAMBOI
“We’re experiencing some incredibly warm days in Copenhagen, and this mix perfectly captures the euphoric and dreamy mindset I have during summertime. However, I’ve also included tracks with a more mysterious and twisted vibe, which I absolutely love. The mix is energetic, fast and fun and has a pounding bassline. CULTURE BOX PODCAST 097 – ANNA LOGIC
This mix is specially made for Culture Box. It’s a 1 hour journey through House, Electro, Breakbeat and Trance – and of course a few Acid bangers here and there. The last year I started to embrace even more that I’m a genre-fluid DJ which this mix also showcases. There is a lot of thought put into track selection, especially when mixing different genres and expressions. I hope this mix takes you on a journey through different feelings and maybe even surprises you. I can’t wait to be back at Culture Box November 12th when Tunghør collective will take over Black Box – Love from Anna Logic

A project assuming changing shapes and shades, depicting moments caught in their point of “cold crash”. It portrays sensations but also smells and illusions, defining Crisco’s own Mediterranean sound. The basic element of the project is the coexistence of different natures within the finite space of a room, also identifiable in Sicily’s insular dimension. CULTURE BOX PODCAST 091 – BRAVER
BRAVER might sound like a new name on the Copenhagen techno scene, but behind the moniker is Mads Lerager, who’s been rocking dancefloors in the Danish capital for more than 20 years. First as the breakbeat dj Tom Collins and in the past years under his own name as the house act Leragér. During the lockdown two things happened: His productions took to a turn to form a rougher and tougher sound. And he formed the GAMA label together with his longtime friend Gabriella Vergilov. As the mood changes from lighter melodic tunes to the more dark, mystic and minimal sounds, the common thread throughout this mix – and Minimalenes mixes in general – are the always deep and “dry” basslines and the carefully chosen vocal tracks mixed in. To Minimalene, the music is a spiritual feeling and that’s what she wants to channel on the dancefloor, or (as is most likely in the current the moment) in your home with your headphones on.
