FACES OF CULTURE BOX: VERONIKA

With our Faces of Culture Box-series we’re profiling good friends of the house, staff and regulars who all participate in making our venue a vibrant and stimulating affair. If you’re a regular you will have met Veronika in the bar. Get to know one of our cherished staff members in this small interview.
Staff positions: Head Bartender
Age: 32
Study/other employment: Soon to graduate in International hospitality and tourism management, and working as external writer/content creator at a traveling magazine.
I started working at Culture Box in… October 2021
I work at Culture Box because… it combines the music and culture I love with my profession… Also, because it is a place free of prejudice based on looks, gender and life choices and a place with awesome staff who work as a team.
My favourite things do to, when I’m off work… is traveling whenever I can, working on a theatre production as a performer and playing too much video games.
My best Culture Box memory… is not just one memory, but those moments after the parties when the shift ends and the whole staff sits down to have a beer and share anecdotes from the night.
What I wish for the future of Copenhagen nightlife is… to keep the positive vibe and community of free, open-minded people who share the dance floor.
I prepare for a shift by… listening to tracks I love to get me into mood and talking to my colleagues to feel the team spirit.
When I’m not working I am… reading books, photographing nature, spending time with friends, exploring my next traveling destinations, going to concerts, watching movies and really playing too much video games.
