FACES OF CULTURE BOX: FRIDA

With our Faces of Culture Box-series we’re profiling good friends of the house, staff and regulars who all participate in making our venue a vibrant and stimulating affair. If you’re a regular you will have noticed Frida and her lovely spirit in the entrance or cloakroom. Get to know one of our cherished regulars in this small interview.
Staff position: Entrance/Cloakroom.
Age: 23
Study/other employment: Chemical Engineer student at DTU
I started working at Culture Box in… March 2022
I work at Culture Box because… the time of the shifts fit into my schedule and the working environment to my lifestyle.
My favourite things do to, when I’m off work… hanging out with my friends doing activities like mixing music, listening to music/mixes, watching movies and going out with them to dance for the whole night. For active leisure I like to go outside in the nature, or visit museums. Cooking, baking delicous vegan dishes, sweets. Moving my body, calming my mind with yoga and meditation.
My best Culture Box memory… Anytime when I went there as a guest with my friends I had a great night, due to my great co-workers on their shift.
What I wish for the future of Copenhagen nightlife is… more respectful, I wish more love towards and acceptance of each other. From the musical aspect I would like to see more progression through the nights, with warm-up sets, elevation and by the end of the night, or better to say in the morning, some chilled vibes even with epic nostalgic grooves.
I prepare for a shift by… listening to some loud music/mixing, coffee, putting on make-up and clothes I enjoy, so the same as I would do if I was going to the club.
When I’m not working, I am… going to school and doing my favourite things, in the remaining time I try to catch up on some sleep.
