PLOY is Future Female Sounds’ SoMe manager. Today she stepped into Red Box to practice her DJ craft.
For how long have you been DJing?
Unprofessionally for a little over a year and professionally for about 6 months.
What’s your taste in music?
Really anything depending on my mood, the time of day or the weather! Some days it’s sad lofi house and other days I only want to listen to pop or disco. Right now I’m really into anything that sounds and feels nostalgic.
What did you practice today?
Today I worked on a set that I’m recording for some of my friends that run an online Radio platform in Manchester, called ZONE88.
What do you need to practice more?
Getting out of my head and having fun, rather than focusing on making the perfect mix every time.
